Parade Confirmation Letters
Confirmation of your entry in the parade will be mailed or e-mailed 48 hours after receiving your complete application. Please make sure that the address contained in your application is correct and legible, so that it may reach the person responsible for your organizations participation in the Waterland Parade. If you have no email address and do not receive your confirmation notice 7 days after you submitted your application, please contact our parade chair Toni Overmyerat 206-212-6221 or email toni.overmyer@comcast.net.
Line Up Order and Placement Criteria
The placement within the parade line-up will be based on aesthetics, music, entertainment, type of vehicles, etc. The first contingent positions are reserved for Flag Bearers, Grand Marshals, Award Recipients, Sponsors and Dignitaries. We strive to honor all special requests for any parade line up placements, but they are not guaranteed and can be based on when the Parade Committee receives your completed application and payment.
Parade Entry Leaders
All parade entries are required to assign a Leader/Contact Person who will be responsible for their contingent in the Waterland Parade.
Placement Numbers
The Waterland Parade will be utilizing assigned numbers for placement. No groups will be allowed on the parade route without an assigned placement number. These numbers will be given out at the Parade Safety Briefing. For safety purposes entries with multiple vehicles must assemble before they arrive at the staging area and enter at the same time. These groups must be assembled before they enter the staging area on (Location).
