We need volunteers for the 2012 Waterland Parade!
Come join a great group of volunteers to make the Waterland Parade a fantastic event! Whatever your skill, we are looking for committed individuals to take care of various aspects of putting on the parade!

To volunteer with the Des Moines Waterland Parade, you must complete the online application and provide all required information. It will not be shared with anyone or any other organization. It will only be used for Des Moines parade purposes.
Parade Volunteer Options
The following are a list of volunteer opportunities. The Parade chair and parade marshals will direct you to your specific tasks at the time of the parade.
- Pre-Parade Marketing Distribution Team: Distribute posters and brochures throughout the city of Des Moines.
- Parade Set-Up: Setting up tables, chairs, signage, decorations & etc.
- Parade Hours – Saturday: Serve onsite at the Des Moines Waterland Parade assisting with assigned tasks, including: Green/Clean Team, Trafficking, Parade, Entertainment / March / Grand Marshall / VIP / Volunteers
- Festival Strike-Down: Strike-down tables, chairs, signage, decorations & etc.
